Piotr Sołtysik is a pianist, chamber musician and composer. He is currently studying piano chamber music at the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw under Robert Morawski and Grzegorz Skrobiński. In 2026, he graduated with distinction in piano performance from the same university, where he studied under Joanna Ławrynowicz-Just, Konrad Skolarski and Adam Goździewski. He is also a graduate of the Karol Szymanowski State Music School Complex No. 4 in Warsaw, where he studied under Wilia Ochocka-Janusz.

He maintains an active concert career, performing as a soloist and chamber musician in Poland and abroad. He has collaborated with, amongst others, the Fryderyk Chopin Institute, Polish Radio and the National Centre for Culture. He has performed at prestigious venues including the Kielce Philharmonic, the Romanian National Opera in Cluj-Napoca, the Synagogue in Győr, the Royal Castle in Warsaw and Fryderyk Chopin’s Birthplace in Żelazowa Wola. In 2024, he made his debut at the Steingraeber-Haus Chamber Hall in Bayreuth. As a soloist, he has performed with the orchestras of the Świętokrzyska Philharmonic, the Chopin University of Music and the Karol Szymanowski State Music School Complex No. 4 in Warsaw, under the baton of distinguished conductors such as Ruben Silva, Czesław Grabowski and Wojciech Pławner. In 2026, his concert engagements included numerous performances as part of the Klavierfestival NiederRheinLande in Germany and the Netherlands.

The pianist has won prizes at numerous national and international competitions, including those held in Riga, Warsaw and Kraków. He was awarded first prizes at the International Juliusz Zarębski Music Competition (2018), the International Moritz Moszkowski Piano Competition in Kielce (2021) and the Irena Rolanowska National Piano Competition (2021). He is also a laureate of the International Chopin Festival in Mazovia. In 2025, he received an honourable mention at the K. Bacewicz International Chamber Music Competition in Łódź.

He honed his skills during masterclasses with outstanding artists such as Yulianna Avdeeva, Sofya Gulyak, Janusz Olejniczak, Pavel Gililov, Arie Vardi, Zbigniew Raubo, Wojciech Świtała, Philippe Giusiano, Ingrid Fliter and Claudio Martínez Mehner.

Piotr Sołtysik is also a composer. His works have been performed at the Presidential Palace in Warsaw, Nowy Świat Muzyki, the Museum of Interiors in Otwock Wielki, and the Ballroom of the Old Spa House in Krynica-Zdrój.

Thanks to his artistic achievements, he has twice been awarded a scholarship by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. Since 2023, he has been under the patronage of the Fryderyk Chopin Institute.
